Unfortunately the 2016 Future Champions Wrestling Duals is Cancelled because of a lack of Registered Teams – Any team that did register will receive a full refund
The Future Champions Elementary, Middle School, and High School National Duals is the premier national duals in Pennsylvania hosting 64 teams in Wilkes-Barre, PA at the Wyoming Valley Sports Dome. Unique format - NO TEAMS are eliminated from pool wrestling to championship wrestling and each championship pool will compete for trophies / medals. Run by an experienced staff and filled with high quality, professional officials for every match.
The weekend starts with pool wrestling to place all teams into championship brackets. All teams will begin wrestling on Saturday morning and continue through Sunday – NO TEAMS ELIMINATED FROM COMPETITION. 6 dual meets are planned for each team in both divisions. Two weigh-in sessions (1 on Friday night, 1 on Saturday morning).
Weight Classes and Divisions:
Middle School: Grades 6*-9, 2 lb. allowance, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 112, 119, 127, 135, 142, 154, 165, 180, 230 (Maximum age is 16 as of December 31, 2015)
Elementary School: Grades 2-6*, 1 lb. allowance, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 112, 119, 125, 132, 160 (Maximum age of 12 as of December 31, 2015 – NO 7th graders regardless of age.)
High School: Grades 9*-12, 95, 102, 106, 111, 120, 126, 132, 138, 145, 152, 160, 170, 182, 195, 220, 285; max age of 19 on 6/31/16
Grade level is for the 2015-2016 school year. * 6th grade *9th grade eligibility: 6th and 9th graders can determine which division they wish to wrestle. You can only wrestle in one division throughout the event. Rosters will be submitted on the honor system BUT be prepared for challenges – copies of birth certificates and recent report cards are encouraged if needed.

Team Preview: Over 1,000 future district, state and even national wrestling champions taking the mat to showcase their skills under the Dome in PA! All teams will get 6 dual matches – 3 in open pool on Saturday and 3 in Championship brackets on Sunday. NO TEAMS ELIMINATED from competition and ALL TEAMS have the opportunity to take home the GOLD in each pool!
Athlete Credentials: Each athlete will receive a souvenir credential badge that must be with them throughout the competition.
Bout Time: All matches will be 1.5 / 1.5 / 1.5 minutes

Table Workers: Each team is responsible for their own table worker. He or she will receive free entry. Team contacts will receive a wristband / id badge at registration. Each table work MUST be wearing this to enter the wrestling and to be at the table. Table workers will run the score board and clock as well as keep the tournament book. (2 table workers per match – 1 from each team)
Wrist Bands / ID BDGES for Team Personnel: Teams get three bands/ id badges for coaches and/or table workers - 3 total.
Admission Fee: $10.00 per day per adult, $5.00 per day per child

Cancellation Policy:If the competition is held, as scheduled or rescheduled, there is no refund of the registration/finals fee. The option is the individual’s or team’s as to whether to compete or not. If the competition is cancelled, and not rescheduled, and there is no opportunity for the individual or team to compete, then there may be a full or partial refund depending on the circumstances.
