AMERICA'S FINEST GAMES GENERAL INFORMATION
America’s Finest Games is a multi-sport Olympic-style athletic program, held annually, to promote physical and mental well-being of First Responder professionals throughout the United States and North America. The America’s Finest Games provides a competitive and social environment to encourage and pay homage to the camaraderie among these men and women, through sports.
Purpose:
The purpose of the games is to support the physical and mental fitness of active and retired First Responders personnel, support staff, and their family members by promoting the concept of physical fitness and sport through the development, organization and coordination of sporting events.
The America’s Finest Games is designed to build stronger bonds throughout the First Responders Community via a sports program that simultaneously enhances positive attitudes towards physical fitness.
The America’s Finest Games are open to ALL first responders, support staff, and their spouses who are eligible to compete, with the hope that their presence and participation will enable an athletic, professional and educational exchange.

Athlete Eligibility Information
The following are permitted to enter in The America’s Finest Games:
First Responders for the America’s Finest Games include active and retired EMS, Explosives, Fire, Hazmat, Law Enforcement, and Search & Rescue personnel from throughout the United States and North America and must be at least 18 years of age as of the first day of the event.
Certified First Responders include Law Enforcement or Fire Fighting personnel with Federal, State, County, City, Municipal, Harbor/Port Authority, Transit and University — this includes U.S. Marshals, County Sheriffs and Deputies, Police Officers, Highway Patrol Officers, State Police, Firefighters, District Attorney's Investigators, Drug Enforcement Agents, Alcoholic Beverage Investigators, Fish and Game Officers, Parole and Probation Officers, Corrections Officers, Customs and Immigration Services Agents, Federal Bureau of Investigation Agents, Secret Service Agents, Justice Department Agents, Parks and Wildlife Officers, and Prosecutors.
Each competitor MUST be employed full time by, or retired from, one of the above agencies at the first day of competition of entered sport.
Special Eligibility
Spouses, Support Staff, Volunteer Law Enforcement, and Volunteer Fire Service will be allowed to participate in all events.
This includes:
- Spouses of law enforcement officers and fire fighters, or any other qualifying agency listed above
- Support staff with any above listed agency; this includes clerical, administrative assistants, records clerks, chaplains, civil officers, dispatchers, etc., currently employed by a qualified agency.
- Sworn Auxiliary Officers, Part Time Officers and Reserve or Special Deputies - must have documentation showing they have completed the Basic Police Academy training, and are currently sworn, in order to participate.
- Volunteer and/or Part Time Fire Fighters - must have documentation showing they have completed Basic Fire Fighter training in order to participate.
- EMS - affiliated with a Fire Department or Private Agency in order to participate.
Anyone who is eligible to participate in any individual event is eligible to participate in any team event.

If the competition is held, as scheduled or rescheduled, there is no refund of the registration/finals fee. The option is the individual’s or team’s as to whether to compete or not. If the competition is cancelled, and not rescheduled, and there is no opportunity for the individual or team to compete, then there may be a full or partial refund depending on the circumstances.
This policy is for all Keystone State Games and Premier Amateur Sports sporting events including America's Finest Games. Any person who wishes to apply for a refund must complete the following link below - refund considerations may require additional paperwork and will be reviewed after the completion of the competition.
